Walk A Mile In My Shoes @ Walmart

Sometimes when you go to Walmart I bet you can walk at least a mile if not more. Most of those stores are as big as a football field on the inside and it’s about 4 times around a football field to make a mile, so I have been told. Those stores have a lot of stuff under one roof but you have to go from one end to the other to get everything you might need in a well-rounded shopping trip. I always prefer a smaller store to get what I need without the other frills and to make choosing what I want easier. Walmart is a necessary evil and it’s never easy to get out spending less than you wanted to when you went in. Since it’s the holiday season the crowds are bigger and the lines are longer.

They say “Always Low Prices, Always” but be prepared to hike a long time to get them and to get what you need.

Holiday Movies: Last Holiday

Queen Latifah and LL Cool J light up the screen in this movie about a misdiagnosed woman who seeks to live out her “last” days in Europe at a posh hotel, living it up. The supporting cast of Gerard Depardieu, Timothy Hutton, Alicia Witt and Giancarlo Esposito make this movie a great holiday flick.

So, It’s The First Day Of Winter

First-Day-of-Winter-2015In the northern hemisphere its the first day of Winter. Where I live its 61 degrees so it doesn’t feel like the classic winter temperatures. More than likely there will not be a white Christmas but those are few and far between. I am ready for some colder, more winter-like weather.

Howdy there friends, I hope all is well today. Here it is dreary, damp and gray outside. Fits the mood of the season right? My last few weeks of work have been productive and successful. I am grateful for all of that. As the holidays approach routines will change and there are challenges from that. My goal is to finish the year strong, or something like that.

Have a swell day, keep your eye on the prize and may you find peace and grace in all your situations. Let love rule. God bless.
