  1. The next line is even sadder: The very next day, you gave it away. That must have been one sadistic person to wait until Boxing Day to dump the narrator (the line is actually, “Last Christmas, I gave you my heart”, first person, not second person). Either way, they’re dead from heartbreak or from a human sacrifice not unlike the one featured in “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”.
