Big Bang Theory Series Finale – Thank You For Twelve Great Seasons #bigbangtheory

bbt

After twelve seasons The Big Bang Theory concludes its run tonight on CBS TV. The show is a family favorite and has produced its own cultural buzz as other shows that came before it. The difference here is that it advanced nerd culture and science as being something special, worth while and accessible. It showed how this quirky, diverse group of people became family.

This show also exposed people to so many fascinating people who were smart in their own sort of way and brought you into a the world of nerds that is awesome. Beautifully it unraveled the mystery of how people, space, knowledge and time if allowed to grow and develop can become something fascinating and wonderful.

I will miss this show very much because it gave me a little hope that the heart and the mind can operate as one. It all started with that Big Bang.

  1. This show means so much to me. It helped me out of a very dark time, and made me laugh again when I thought I couldn’t anymore. This show made me write again, be creative again. I found so many friends and even was there for two tapings. I am sure the writers found a wonderful way to end the series. It’s sad to see them go, but they will always keep their spots in my heart.

      1. Yes, I watched both. And I loved especially the end. I felt like a neutrino myself. Thanks to Big Bang I found so many wonderful friends over the years and no longer alone. Did you watch it, too?

  2. OMG, Tony, this is so relatable. I actually started watching when it first came out, and I was HOOKED. My favorite bit would have to be the character evolutions of both Sheldon and Penny and the little understanding they have. The episode where Penny tells Leonard: “Look Leonard – Sheldon’s hugging’ me,” after she gives Sheldon the napkin signed by Leonard Nimoy, that Christmas episode, IS MY FAVORITE. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

  3. I actually really use to enjoy BB, but they play it here SO much. I didn’t even know that the new season had started because there’s one channel who play it. My partner is obsessed and it was on so often, I started to dislike it. No one else I know is even aware the last episode is on tonight.
Too give you an idea of how often. At least the last year, definitely longer. They have 5 back to back episodes Mon-Fri and sometimes on Friday, they’ll play Thursdays episodes during the day. It’s just to much. I think on Tuesdays, as the last episode they’d play the newest episode. You are the only person I’ve seen mention that this week is last episode. I literally think no one, I know, anyway. Is even aware!

  4. One of my very favorite shows! I’ll miss it SO much. My family has been watching since it started. We dvr’d it tonight to watch later with our daughter. Can’t wait to see how they wrap it all up! So sad.

  5. This was the best sitcom that I watched without failed and enjoyed every scene. Not only it was funny but informative with real scientific facts as well. The dialogues are so intelligent and to the point!

Me and my son who are also big fan of Star Wars, Star Trek and Indiana Jones can truly relate well with these 4 guys and understand when Penny don’t get the jokes or the things that makes the guys to go crazy.

I watched every one of the episodes when it was first aired on cable and with re-runs, I am enjoying it with the same feeling I had when I first watched the episodes. Some of the jokes can never get old.
