Sunday Reflection: No One Is Perfect And Grace Is Good

No one I know is perfect. No one. Not even me. Seeking perfection is a challenge that everyone will fail at and that’s OK. In that relentless pursuit of perfection we miss out on a lot. Our connection with one another means we share in that imperfect life that does more to unite us than any perfect life could. Everyone makes mistakes and it’s through those errors that allows forgiveness to come into play.

Grace is a great gift because it means you are being gift of pardon from whatever wrongs you have committed. It can bring people together where they were once apart. It’s okay to give and receive grace and still have issues to work out in any relationship. It’s grace that gives a point of reboot in life.

Forgiveness is really hard and its more about the person who was injured letting go of any anger or animosity that the person who was hurt the most. Be not afraid to reconcile and renew your hearts and minds for something higher and better.

So in your seeking to be perfect know it will never happen. Be satisfied with the person you are right now. Give people you know the chance to be who they are in the moment.

Quote Of The Day

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.
