I started my college journey at Chattanooga State Technical Community College in 1988. I flunked out. In 1990, I got a second chance at Hiwasseee College, where I graduated with an Associate in Arts Degree. From there, I went to Lincoln Memorial University for one semester. I discovered I wasn’t happy there and transferred to Middle Tennessee State University (a school I never thought I would find myself at) where I graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and minors in Sociology and Political Science.
Murfreesboro is a beautiful area. Your college journey seems like a little like mine. I bounced around a lot longer than you did. Nice post.
