
My grandmother had a sweet tooth. From cake frosting to York Peppermint Patties. She was a great cook too and made some terrific sweets during the holidays and for family meals. My wife gets the credit for picking these up at Walmart this evening. Tonight she is honored by having these. I miss her, every day.

My father loved these as well. When he was diagnosed with diabetes he was mortified that he wouldn’t be able to have any more treats. My sister travels across to Washington State a lot and was able to find a sugar free version. They finally came to Canada a year or so before he passed. I am glad you got to enjoy the candy and your memories.
