No one likes to be “preached” at but sometimes being “preached” at can help motivate and give you direction that can make your life better. I know from experience.

I believe unsolicited advice is a form of abuse from people who cannot control their own lives and seek to control the lives of others (she writes while sitting in her mother’s home after weeks of being around family of origin). It also teaches us a lot about ourselves. ♥.

You are right about that. I am sorry if I triggered any negative feelings. I could have written this post better. Please forgive.

You didn’t at all, but that’s so sweet of you to say that. Thank you Tony. It’s all good. I forget to put smileys to indicate a playful tone. =) ♥.

I think everyone is entitled to an opinion. This is a statement that I can agree with entirely. I like to hear what is real and sometimes a little preaching is required to get the message across. Love it

You are correct, as sometimes being preached at, does give a kick start to motivate you and get you going on the right track. Thanks Tony 🙂 ❤

Tony, my wife will do this at times and initially I revolt. Then after I think about her words I realize she was speaking truth. Then I have to spend time in introspection. Great reminder for me.
