  1. I have 279 followers and having this many followers has definitely helped me start to have more of a connection on WordPress. I don’t know if it’s because people are reblogging things that I have written, or if my posts are somehow being found in the reader easier. All I know is that over this past week, I have finally started to have more regular traffic on my page and it’s a very nice change. I hope it continues! This is what keeps me motivated to keep writing, because I want to share my heart with people that actually care about what I write. I feel like I have finally found a great group of people who understand where I’m coming from.

  2. …so I have about 59 WordPress followers and they seem to increase whenever I do those challenges (which I will blog about tomorrow). What I find fascinating is that I have 101 who follow through email and then a different number for subscribers. I can understand why you might want to increase WordPress followers though. Also, I’ve found that you should use the categories so that you include readers who really resonate with what you’re writing. Oh, one last thing…following people like Opinionated Man (OM) and Janice Wald also help because they have plenty opportunities for sharing and increasing traffic. Just my $.02

  4. Over 300 from everywhere, about 170 from WordPress. What I am finding now is that it is harder to keep up and comment and read every body. I have over 1200 posts here unread so that part is the hardest.
