As much as I love blogging and bloggers there is no way I can keep up with every post from every blogger I follow. Other things in life must be taken care of and blogging shouldn’t be a chore it should be something fun. Picking up from where you are at any given moment is probably the best way to keep up. If we took the time to look at every post from every blogger we knew then there would be less time for other things in life. Priorities do matter after all. Your posts are a part of you and my posts are a part of me but they aren’t everything that should consume us.
What is your experience with this? How do you manage your blogging time?
I skim posts and if they catch my eye I finish them. But I do love reading and posts are like new books each one. So I have like 100 books a day I read. 🙂
To me it’s not a choir so much because I do it during down time where I can’t be surfing or outside doing something fun. I do it at work to pass the time between busy moments.

It’s hard for me to read a post of over 1000 words. It has to catch my attention for me to read through them. Although I can read for that long.

Then don’t read them. I have skimmed some and chosen to not fully read them at times. /shrug

Don’t get me wrong, I will read something over 1000 words. My experience on Tumblr has conditioned me to read shorter posts. It’s something I will have to work my way through. Thanks for your feeback.

I do the same thing. It’s impossible to read all the blogs i follow…I just read the ones that catch my eye 🙂

Amen! Blogging should be fun and not something that we’re forced to do just because it’s part of the rules or whatever. If we’ve got time, why not? It’s not like we’re snobs and completely ignore other blogs. I would gladly read and visit others blogs. But, people shouldn’t take it against us if we don’t do it often because it’s not the only thing there is to do. For most it’s just a hobby, like for me, and hobbies aren’t meant to be a chore. 😉

I think so many people get invested in their blog that they forget other things in life. I am one of those people. However blogging should be something someone does for a pastime and a way to connect with others.

Blogging happens as a result of life, we must first live, feel then write.

I am disabled and don’t work. My blog is still small. I can read everything for now, but I can understand that not everyone can.

Same here. You are very correct to how I feel. For me also I cannot agree on some posts, or some are not relevant, Too long, definitely not possible as some even write daily!
Of course I know, I do have to, “Inter act” and keep in touch with those who “Like, Read and Appreciate what I write”. I do this from time to time or even immediately if there is a need for “some support or some advice I can give” Keep going Tony. At your own pace according to your personality, The Best way to go about in life 🙂
