Tonight our semi-pro soccer team is playing for a shot at the National Premier Soccer League championship. Chattanooga Football Club (or CFC as its known) is a wildly successful team who have captured the hearts of the hardcore and casual soccer fan here. They play hard and represent our city well. They hope to have 10,000 people for the game tonight and I hope they do.

Their biggest fans are known as the “Chattahooligans” who in the spirit of football/soccer fans in other parts of the world yell, scream and sing throughout the game. When you see these fans doing their thing you can’t help but want to get kind of rowdy too.

So tonight will be a big game and we hope to have loads of fun with thousands of our friends and neighbors.
