I wonder about this. Sometimes I wonder if people want a long reply to a post. Do they just want me to say ‘Great Work’ instead of mentioning things I liked or how I can relate to it. Then there is the reply to their reply, do you do this? Or not? Urgh! Its just a different social setting with the same issues as IRL. But we are all here to connect so I chat away.
I usually need to say something if I comment. That may even be, great post, sometimes…not usually. But I don’t need to do say something very often, which is why I love “blogs” with like buttons. Also, as you can tell, I respond to interesting questions.
If I don’t have anything much to say so I tend to be a “liker”, especially if there is at least one point I agree with or it’s a topic that I found interesting. Otherwise, I do comment or ask questions. I do enjoy a good exchange, too. You can learn a lot from people.
I’m probably not chatty enough – maybe I should try to comment a bit more on other people’s posts instead of just hitting the ‘like’ button all the time? 🙂
Actually I want to write comment to all of them but time is not enough and I use like button. Comments should be important… we all wish to hear something from others… You also learn something from others’ comments too… Comments what are breaking the silence of blogging world… 🙂 Thank you dear Tony, Love, nia
It depends on the person I am talking to. I am not a people person and usually am the first to leave a party, so I would never overstay my welcome. But with a few friends I never seem to be done holding a conversation, and neither are they. We can talk or chat for hours on end, even if we see each other a lot we always appear to have so much to tell each other. Strange. How about you, Tony?

I like to talk, however I feel that I might bore people or I am too passionate about what I talk about and that drives people away.

Usually when people are passionate about something it is contagious more than annoying 🙂
