Alwin Lopez “Al” Jarreau was an American jazz singer. He won seven Grammy Awards and was nominated for over a dozen more. He was best remembered by many for his performing the theme song to the TV show “Moonlighting” which starred Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis. Mr. Jarreau passed away on February 12, 2017 in Los Angeles.

I didn’t hear of his passing. He was definitely one of the greats. Love this Moonlight Theme. Hadn’t heard it for years!
