Being aware of the suffering of others is a part of friendship, family and community. It’s easy to be wrapped up in self so being aware of others situations requires a conscious effort. We are in a way our siblings keeper and in the world we live in these days there is a greater need for kindness and care.
So true! I was very grateful today when a friend went grocery shopping for me, so considerate and a reminder to me to be more considerate of others when I’m well.

I agree… And I was thinking about that just this morning. I’ve noticed how many fellow bloggers seem to be going through rough times, and I try my best to leave kind words when time allows it. Thanks for bringing the subject up, and you are so right, it is very easy to fall in the “me-me-me” patern, especially when you host a blog 😉
I hope you’re having a lovely day, Tony xx

since my siblings no longer see m as “connected to the family” I have chosen a family for my own. I try to see if they need anything each day..even if it is nothing more than a smile, hug or a message. they do the same for me…I would love to see more people treat each other as family. good post tony. Thanks for making us think.
