Here in the Chattanooga area it’s supposed to snow. It looks like it will start up around noon today. It’s already cold enough to snow so conditions are right. Let’s see what happens.

The Afterlife
I am a proud member of the Episcopal branch of the Jesus movement. I believe in a afterlife for all. With that being said its still never easy to see brilliant and talented people leaving this life when there is still so much work to be done. When its someone close to your age it kind of rattles the soul. There are so many people who are close to us who were vital parts of our lives who have joined the company of saints and it makes life a little less awesome. Perhaps it is a reminder we all have a responsibility to make things great for people who rely upon us to carry the torch.

In memory of their lead singer Dolores O’Riordan who died suddenly in London today. She was 46 years old. Thank you for your talents and music.
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. day in the United States. Rev. King was a civil rights leader who gave his life for the cause of being sure everyone had the same rights and opportunities. His words and life should be an inspiration to everyone around the world. Thank you Rev. Dr. King for your leadership and your example.

An American Dream For All
Instead of dreaming through the heart and mind of the divine we gave it up for the American dream which has changed since the days of generations past.
One person’s dream can become a nightmare for another. Opportunities for life and liberty and happiness are universal and must be offered to all no matter where they are from. People shouldn’t have to live in America to realize they can achieve their dreams where they are.
