My long-time nickname is T-Bird. I have had it since I was a teenager when one of my youth ministers at church gave it to me. I adopted it because it was uniquely me. There’s power and fun to having it. Use it freely if you like. Its a part of being myself which embraces the nerd/geek life. It is a part of who God created me to be.

I love it. What a cool memory. Part of the reason my blog is called Hot Shot Headlines is because my dad started calling me “Hot Shot” years ago. I don’t remember how or why it started, but it’s a part of my identity, and it helps me stay close to him. We have an awesome relationship, and I think it’s fitting to use this nickname to honor it.
