This is a terrific film with loads of action. Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillian, Kevin Hart and Jack Black with Nick Jonas bring great performances outside their own unique personalities. It’s not a remake of the original with Robin Williams but a nod to the legacy of the original but with a different story that is relatable to today’s audiences. I really liked the film and look forward to the sequel.

I’ve watched it about 5 times. Last night was the latest. I enjoy the “one life” lines, how the kids are still themselves in spite of their new founded skills, and how they were all changed because of that experience.

We saw this in the theaters on New Year’s Day, and really liked it. We’re big fans of the original, but we were pleasantly surprised with how this one turned out. We watched it again with my husband’s parents over Labor Day weekend.
