For the first time in a very long time I had a significant cry. I am on anti depressants and it has done a great job of levelling me off emotionally but last night I just had to let some stuff out. It felt good in a strange way.

Hang in there, Tony. Sometimes a good cry does wonders.

It’s important not to let our anxieties build up too much. A release, through our crying, of the things that bother us is a good thing. Thinking of you my friend. :O)

I always feel better after I have a good cry. I know that’s not always the case for others. I’m thinking of you, good sir.

Tears are cleansing, at least I always feel emotionally cleansed when I cry. Good post, Tony.

I remember when I had been put on anxiety tablets, so I just assumed that they would hold me together. After work one day, I was walking from the bus back to my house and I just started to cry and I couldn’t stop. Its okay to cry. The tablets help, but they don’t solve our problems. We still need to deal with what’s wrong. The tablets help to calm us, but they don’t make the problems go away. It’s your life so cry if you need too ❤

Hello Tony. I agree with what everyone has said here but I also want to include that medications can change the way your body hormones work and as they change you can suddenly start to cry when you were fine a few minutes earlier. I have medications that do that to me occasionally. Hugs

A good cry is a necessity at least once a year. All the anger, hurt, tension and feelings of helplessness come out.
