Sir Micheal Gambon was not the original Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies However, he did the job very well when called upon to replace the original Dumbledore, Richard Harris when he passed away. Gambon died on September 27th. He was also on Doctor Who during the Matt Smith era for one of their Christmas specials among many other roles on stage and screen. Sir Michael, rest in power.
