I think I have been blogging consistently for 15 years or so. In that time I have never had any post get more than the number of likes I got on this post on the Threads platform which is run by the folks of Instagram/Meta. This post about celebrating Hanukkah has gotten 928 plus likes and 44 replies That is what I call a viral response.
No blog post on any of the blogging platforms I have used has even come close to that number. I even use tags on my blog posts to reach a wider audience. I am just wondering if I have become stale to my blogging audience? This is just something I am wondering about.
I don’t find you to be stale, if my opinion matters 🤷🏼♀️

You’re not stale at all, Tony. I reckon it’s just an online, fast-pacing thing 🤷♀️ Nowadays, people flutter more. It’s nothing to do with you. You’re fine the way you are – and the way you blog.

I enjoy your blog and I definitely don’t find your posts stale. Just a thought (I hope you don’t mind)…the topic of post i.e. Judaism and the need for miracles is a very hot topic right now and is probably why it attracted so much attention. Perhaps post about a hot topic once a week to draw more people views to your page and grow your engagement.

Tik-Tok is kind of insane in how many views you can get. My daughter made a video of herself dancing to a Tik-Tok song and posted it on my Youtube channel unbeknownst to me. She had 2700 views, I could not believe it. My videos of my pets on TikTok get hundreds to thousands of views in hours, but how much of that is real engagement? I prefer blogging and more meaningful interactions myself.
