This is the best holiday special to come out in years. At this point, I have seen it 15 times maybe. Guardians of The Galaxy never disappoints. This team has helped me through some things in a small measure over the years. I can watch this during the summer, fall, or spring. Drax and Mantis make this extra special. Also there’s Kevin Bacon and everything is better with Bacon.

I cannot believe this only came out last year. We’ve certainly seen it more times in 13 months than any other movie, special, or episode of TV during a time period 5 times as long. It is absolute perfection. James Gunn is a master storyteller and gifted director.
