I am not sure if this will make sense to many, but I believe a great leader is someone willing to serve. In my mind I believe you lead by example and that requires getting your hands dirty and doing some heavy lifting. Anyone who expects to get things done needs to inspire others and that means doing things that might seem impossible. There is a concept called servant-leadership and I buy into that a lot. Sometimes we can have too many chiefs and not enough workers too.

Carter may have not been liked by a lot of folks, but he did get his hands dirty. Bush did. My favorite memory pic of Michelle Obama is covered with dirt in the WH garden.When you get dirty, you realize how much work something takes and that humbles you. Good post–

Many leaders are spoiled by the facilities provided by the government and they forget that their main task is actually to serve the people. I agree with your opinion.
