Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!
I woke up this morning around 4:30, a good hour and a half earlier than I normally begin my wake up routine. Really I tried just trying to relax but to no avail. The daily grind of getting up and getting ready for the day is kind of mundane but something that grown up people have to do (not saying I am a conventional grown up have you) but you get what I am saying here. As I write this I am wondering what its going to be like around 2:30 PM today when my four or so hours of sleep start revisiting me. They make coffee for situations like this, right?
Some days waking up is hard on you and its hard to do. Bah!
Well it’s Monday again and it’s raining this morning. I suppose it’s needed but sets quite the mood. Let’s have the best day possible. Love, grace and peace to all y’all nerds and geeks and others.
It’s a good practice to not get worked up about what some people say in the comments. However a well meaning response to a post can be taken seriously wrong by people who think they know more about something than you. I responded to an article about two people leaving a TV show and my comments were not met with a great deal of understanding. If I have learned a lesson here is that I am overly sensitive and maybe I need a thicker skin. Aren’t there more important things to get worked up about?
