Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

I went to the mall, today. It’s been awhile.

Happy Birthday To My Wife, Laura!

Today is my wife’s birthday and I want to say that I love her and that she means a lot to me and many other people. She puts up with me and I am very grateful. This woman is caring, considerate and cool.

Happy Birthday My Love.

Straight Out of Nooga!

I will never stop being a total geek for my hometown. Chattanooga is special and it’s awesome!

You win some, you lose some.

My team the Chattanooga Football Club fell short in overtime of the NPSL National Championship soccer game tonight. It was a hard fought battle against a very talented  New York Cosmos B squad. This game was a huge event for Chattanooga because it broke a record for attendance for a amateur soccer event in this country with over 18,000 filling Finley Stadium in downtown Chattanooga. Being there to cheer on the home team was a great thing. I am already looking forward to next season. Go Chattanooga Football Club!

Post game snack – These are interesting chips. Let’s see how much they taste like what they are inspired to be.
