Kindness Needed For A Short-Staffed World

This is a solid message for all of us. Everything is short-staffed these days and for those who report for work it’s a good thing to be kind. The world needs some kindness for those who are just trying to get by and to make a living.

To Everywhere It’s Hot. To Everyone Who’s Trying To Stay Cool.

This goes out to everywhere it’s hot. Especially the Pacific northwest and Canadian southwest where you good people aren’t used to temperatures like you are experiencing. Stay cool by any means necessary and be safe.

A Few Thoughts From My Noggin

I am catching up on some thoughts I have had through the week about various things rattling around in my noggin.

CANADA DAY – I normally celebrate Canada Day because I am a big fan of the country. I have embraced its culture and it’s television programs. However, with the situation with the First Nations children and residential schools it didn’t seem appropriate to do so. I still love Canada and what happened to those impacted is something you can’t ignore with fireworks and cookouts. I am hoping for understanding, reconciliation, and accountability to happen before the conversation of forgiveness can take place.

MY DEMEANOR – I am more likely to say goofy things than I am to act goofy these days. My humor is dark and whatever the opposite of dry is. Maybe there is a teenager still living in my heart and mind. Also, I am a little grouchy these days. I really have never been fun to be with so that is something.

COVID – It is good to see some normalcy, but I hope it’s not too soon to do a lot of big things. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been to a movie and a soccer game, and I am still OK (I got vaccinated so there’s a measure of protection) but there are a lot of people who are putting themselves and others at risk.

JUSTICE – Seems that justice is not meant for everyone. Britney Spears is still beholden to her dad, but Bill Cosby walks free. Strange and sad.

More to come. Stay tuned.

I Make Mistakes

Some like me make mistakes many times. You know, just for practice.

Yes, It’s Friday!

My people it’s Friday and we made it through another week. I hope you all have a swell day. LFG!

Happy Birthday Dad, I Miss You

Happy Birthday to my wonderful dad as he celebrates today with his heavenly family today. He passed away in August of 2019 and this is his second birthday since his passing. I so miss you dad and I wish you were still here with us. I love you always!
