I answered this daily prompt in August of last year. I am revisiting it to say the things that cause me not to relax are still present. I do what I can to relax, but it’s hard for me. Being able to relax is important, and it’s taking me awhile to figure out to do more of it. But when I do relax I like to blog, watch TV, listen to podcasts, and cook breakfast on a Saturday morning. I do enjoy working on computer stuff too.
I turned 56 today and I am feeling OK. Not bad for turning another year older. Not sure if I am feeling smarter or wiser at the moment. Let’s see how things go. I am hopefully going to be feeling the best I can at any given time.
This recipe is a family favorite from a friend of the family. I absolutely love this dish because it’s beef and sauce and full of good memories. It’s good with rice and steamed broccoli. Each year I ask for it on my birthday. Check out the Soup Diva’s site to check out the recipe.
My favorite time of day is 4:30 Monday-Friday. Yes, that is when my workday ends. I am grateful for having a job. But, I will tell you, my job is mentally taxing and that impacts a lot of stuff. At the end of the day, I am tired. Once again, my job helps a lot of people, but I am only human, and I have my own limits.
Being creative is fun, and it’s even more fun when you inspire others in your works. The use of someone’s work should come with acknowledgement and credit. I really strive to be original, but I do need inspiration now and then. My posts here include words, images, videos and other types of media from various sources.
I want to offer them thanks for allowing me to use this in a fair use way where I do not financially benefit. A little credit is a great way to be a good blogging neighbor. I want to thank Catherine for her inspiring me to write this post. Check out her article https://micqu.org/2025/07/28/credit-where-credit-is-due/ to gain more insight.
