The journey of Advent begins with an Advent wreath to light the way to the coming of Christ. Today at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga TN was the annual Advent wreath making session where parishioners made their own wreaths to carry home.

By refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery, Alabama, city bus in 1955, black seamstress Rosa Parks (1913—2005) helped initiate the civil rights movement in the United States.

World AIDS Day 2018 #WorldAIDSDay
World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.
