It’s important I think to be kind to the staff of a hotel or motel in which you are staying. Those folks work hard to make your stay the best it can be. Some of those folks work strange hours for not a lot of pay. Even when a staff person isn’t polite to you it can change their day to show them kindness, it might help them get through their shift. This past week I made a point to ask the staff I encountered how they were doing and I hope it helped them keep going and know that someone cared a little.

The airport we flew into on our trip was 40 minutes east of Orlando in Sanford, FL. We took Uber to and from there and saved a ton of money over taxi, rental and shuttle. We recommend Uber to anyone needing a ride from one place to another in a big tourist town.
We made it home safely after our trip to Florida. After being away it feels weird to be in ones own living room watching ones own TV and realizing you are back to normal routines. At the moment I am contemplating what to do the rest of vacation which lasts until Sunday. Sometime this afternoon I might do a nap or something like that. I just hope my posts will still be as interesting.
We live in a world with eyes and lenses pointed at us all the time. It’s very Big Brother if you ask me. But it’s where we are now. Many of us are super social while some are under the watchful eye of cameras above our heads and on phones all round. Are we secure or under suspicion? Who knows anymore.
