My day started at the doctor for a checkup then to work where I hit the ground running. I gained some experience today doing something new. I wanna do my best and I hope I did that today. Then it was on to Zumba to sweat off the day. Today was a Monday alright.
A visit to the doctor can be a interesting experience. If you have done as he as said then it’s great. On the other hand if you have been bad then you might find yourself getting a little lecture. For me today I’m most likely getting a lecture. He has my best interest at heart as my doctor and I need to do more on my end.
Ones health is important in so many ways because it’s about your life. Being diabetic can be tough as most of you know so my weight can be an issue in managing it. Let’s hope for better days ahead.
How are you, how was the weekend, what’s up for the week ahead?
Last night at our Rivervend Festival, Stone Temple Pilots were the featured act on the big Coca Cola Stage. They have a new lead singer Chester Bennington who replaced the much troubled Scott Weiland. The show was very hard rocking and a lot of fun. STP made a huge splash in the 1990’s like their fellow alternative bands Nirvana and Pearl Jam. This song is one of my favorites of theirs.
Nothing lasts forever. Everything on Earth is finite. Our lives and relationships have their seasons. There are expiration dates for a reason.
During those times where we live in community enjoy it while it lasts. There does come a moment where it’s time to move forward, move ahead, move.
Changes are ever present in our world but it’s the experience we gain that helps us deal with it all. My faith means listening to my higher power when a change is necessary. I also have comfort in that. Today I celebrate what has been and for the things to come.
To God be the glory, great things He has done.
