Sometimes my head and mouth don’t sync. I say things that in my mind make sense but when those words find their way out of my mouth then it’s quite something. It’s the old foot-in-mouth thing that gets me into some trouble or perhaps it makes one think. Either way, I hope I don’t make a fool of myself too much.

The missus and I went to Signal Point atop Signal Mountain, TN. I grew up on this mountain and it’s a great spot for fall colors and terrific scenic views. We also had coffee at a local coffee shop before our color tour.

This deer along with some friends were in our backyard tonight having some dinner I think. It’s fun to be this close to nature and not far from the city.
