Farewell Alan Rickman

Alan Rickman who was good at playing bad guys has left this world. He is best known for Severus Snape from the Harry Potter movies and the Sheriff of Notingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. He was memorable for his roles in movies like Sense and Sensibility and Galaxy Quest. Rickman was also great in Love Actually.

Thank you Alan for sharing your talents with the world. You will be missed by geeks and nerds everywhere.

I can honestly say the attention to detail and the work that went into creating this attraction is mind blowing. The real feel they bring to life from the movies and books is amazing. This is a part of the park that is built to last a long time.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2

We have been watching all the Harry Potter movies over again. The final movie is the most violent and the saddest. During “The Order of the Phoenix” it ceased being child’s play and became very dark and very grown up. J.K. Rowling wrote something timeless with a story old as time.

Our Month Long Harry Potter Film Fest

In September we are going to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So to prepare for our vacation we are watching all the Harry Potter movies over again. We have made it through “The Prisoner of Azkaban” the one featuring Gary Oldman as Sirius Black. These movies originated from JK Rowling are a significant part of the childhoods and second childhoods of many. Indeed this series of movies are a modern instant classic.
