It’s hard to do your own thing. Going your own way. Forging a different path. It can be challenging and sometimes lonely. The one thing I can say is that being original can be fun. Through it all you find your tribe who can share the journey. We need people who can fly their freak flags with pride. To those who are in their own version of the Hellfire Club more power to you. If any of you are finding your own path, you have my support.

Friday Night Holiday Lights
On the way home from an appointment, we came upon this house that was decked out in full holiday mode. Mariah Carey has been here already. It’s well done without being over the top. It’s less than a week to American Thanksgiving.
Transgender Awareness Week – November 13-19
Transgender Awareness Week, observed from November 13 to November 19, is a one-week celebration leading up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which memorializes victims of transphobic violence. There are two people in my life who are in the process of transitioning. It’s more important for me to be an ally who can support them as they begin to live their authentic self.
Pro Tip: Ballin On A Budget
If you wanna be “ballin’ on a budget” go to a dollar store and spend $50 or so. It will make you feel like a billionaire or something like that.
Humans Helping Humans
Whenever possible ask fellow humans to help you with stuff. Also, treat them like fellow humans who like yourself are just trying to make it in this world. It will help them to survive and fulfill their calling amongst other things.
