From History.com In Islam, Ramadan is a holy month of fasting, introspection and prayer.
To my followers who celebrate this Holy time I wish you grace, peace and love. May God bless us all as we find ways to come together and to love one another. I look forward to you sharing your stories during this time.
We tried a new breakfast spot this morning. Olive Bean has a good menu of scratch made food featuring breakfast and lunch options. They have a gift shop too and soda fountain. It’s nice going to a different place to expand your horizons.
OK, perhaps I am just overreacting and making a mountain out of a mole hill about this reblogging thing.
Here are a couple of ground rules for my followers…
DO NOT reblog personal posts that include family and other personal pictures.
Ask for permission if there is something original I have written that sounds academic or poetic or something that could be used to advance my life and career.
Other posts are OK including my music posts and other posts about current events, culture, etc.
Maybe that will eliminate unnecessary drama and angst on my part. I really wanna play well with others and perhaps have some of my stuff get the eyeballs and ears of others across the blogosphere.
Some days call for a song that can speak to the frustrations of life. Sometimes you just need to shout. This is from Tears for Fears 1985 album Songs from the Big Chair.
Some days you are dark chocolate, other days bubble gum. Then there are days when you are in a licorice sort of mood. After all that you might end up at the dentist. Candy can reflect the state of mind you are in at any given time. Hopefully we are all sweet instead of sour unless sour candy is what you are in to.
Today is the last day of May, can you believe it? Time flies by when you are having fun or something like that. It is hard to believe tomorrow is a new month with new opportunities. Let’s make it a great day good people and finish the month strong….now where’s my coffee?
