It’s Finally February

Rumor has it that it’s finally February. January seemed to last entirely too long. With the USA in turmoil, with a horrible president, fires, aircraft crashes, and trade wars with Canada and Mexico, it’s going to be another long month, I fear. Let’s do the best we can, good people.

Clearing Up 2024

I don’t believe there is enough sage that can be burned to clear up 2024. It will require something much stronger that is more potent. Looking ahead 2025 is going to be worse.

Simple Soup Supper At Church For The Food Bank

My church does a soup supper every year to support our local food bank. Members will make homemade soups and bread to raise funds that help the mission and create awareness of the important programs of this important agency in our community. Taking care of the least of these is a commandment and central tenet of our faith.

My missus The Soup Diva made this soup and the bread was made by another member of the church. It was a tasty reminder that people do without every day.

A Question…

I have a question… Does it make it more of a turn-off to follow me because I am a practicing believer and member of Team Jesus? Sometimes I wonder.

Being Totally Lazy On A Saturday

Today I have chosen to be totally lazy. Although there is a part of me that says I should be doing stuff. Sometimes self-care is hard. I need to be better at doing nothing however when you think about it doing nothing is really doing something.

Supporting Puerto Rico And Supporting Love

The most hate-filled political rally was held at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Much of the hate was against Puerto Ricans (who are Americans) for some strange reason. There was a lot of evil coming from that place today. I just want to send my love and support for Puerto Rico as I did the folks from Springfield, Ohio. Making America great does not begin with hate.

We have an election coming up in 8 days. I have voted for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. They are competent, capable, mature, and kind people. Loving one’s neighbor, welcoming the stranger, and giving to the poor and needy is what is needed always.
