This is a huge day for retailers because it begins the holiday shopping season. You will find amazing bargains in stores all across the country. I heard on the news this morning that people are using apps and the web as tools to get the best deals possible and that online sales will be bigger this year than ever.

Small Business Saturday
Today was Small Business Saturday, a day set aside to promote small businesses in the midst of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. American Express is championing this effort to help independent retailers have a big impact on the economy during the holiday shopping season. We did our part today to help the economy and to put some money into the til of some of our favorite businesses on the North Shore of Chattanooga.

Happy Black Friday good people. Today is the big day of deals and steals (well don’t steal anything that would get you in trouble). People were lined up at the malls and the big box stores to shop kind of like the “Hunger Games” or something like that.
