Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Today We Are All Irish

St. Patrick’s Day occurs annually on March 17 in observance of the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. What began as a religious feast day in the 17th century has evolved into a variety of festivals across the globe celebrating Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, and a whole lot of green. An Irish Blessing

May the blessing of light be upon you,
Light on the outside,
Light on the inside.

With God’s sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth,
Like a turf fire
that welcomes friends and strangers alike.

May the light of the Lord shine from your eyes,
Like a candle in the window,
Welcoming the weary traveller.

Have a great St. Patricks Day everyone!

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
