This song is visually stunning and very 1980’s. The Cars are one of those american pop/rock bands that have interesting vocals and catchy tunes. On CBS TV a show called “BrainDead” has been using this tune to indicate when people who have been infected by alien bugs are on the scene. I would have never thought this song would be brought back into popularity in such a way.
I saw this band in 2014 at Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival. This song speaks to people wanting a peace of mind in the rat race that is life. Boston is a very talented group with a rich history of hits.
I normally post a Tunes Tuesday but this weeks installment comes a day later. This song from Foreigner is a classic and speaks to how life is Urgent, love is Urgent, everything is Urgent.
Sometimes we have to let stuff go. In order to go on in life we have to put things aside and behind us to have a better life. This treasure from the movie “Frozen” helps put things in perspective.
For those who stand their ground this song is for you. Rock on good people.
This song from 1988 (the year I graduated from High School) still resonates with me because of its message and ferocity. The group knows how to tell a story about people who have become a cult of personality.
