I am a positive person but sometimes I gotta rant a little. Everyone else does it so here I go.
The following is based upon something my wife and I experienced today at Dunkin Donuts. A older woman came up to us, someone we don’t know and she was rude. She made an assumption based upon what we were doing at the time. We were on our smartphones minding our own business and she thought we were texting one another.
Just because someone is using their smartphone doesn’t mean they are texting. They could be emailing, doing a grocery list, checking social media, reading a book or blogging. Oh yeah they can also be used for talking too…novel concept.
Also when you get older it doesn’t give you right to say whatever you want to whoever. You might hurt someone deeply. I never want to be that old guy who goes around unfiltered.
I assume you were polite. I wouldn’t have been.

As much as I hate to see cell phones in use in a restaurant I would never dream of imposing my preference on others because that’s all it is, a personal preference of mine… (unless you’re my kid, if you’re my kid I will totally make you put that phone away) 😉

People can be so annoying and intrusive. Like, what’s it to her anyways?
