“Easy as Pie” Apple Cobbler

We took this for dessert tonight at my folks for Memorial Day dinner. It’s easy and delicious. Follow soupdiva.net today.

The Soup Diva

2 cans apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Spray 13 x 9 x 2 cake pan or casserole dish. Dump pie filling and spread into even layer; sprinkle cake mix evenly over apples. Cube butter and arrange on top; sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 (325 for dark pan) for 45 minutes or until browned. Allow to sit before serving.

(For those who remember Po Folks, this is nearly identical to their cobbler! Of course, you can make this with any fruit you choose.)
