I think everyone should say thank you to the people that clean up after us. Drive us around on a bus. Prepare and serve our meals. Help us with our cell phone bill (even when we don’t get our way). The people who are making a living helping us out deserve our thanks everyday.

I tend to thank people for every little thing. I think the waiter was tired of saying you are welcome to me tonight. I can’t help it. It is the way I am. Heck I even thanked the cop after the accident. Now that is really weird.

I completely agree! To go along with this, put down your cell phone when you’re interacting with people who are helping you. Working in retail this was always one of my biggest pet peeves.
