The reader on the WordPress dashboard has updated and functions differently. It looks more streamlined and works better. Whenever the Tumblr dashboard would be updated and changed people would go nuts because they don’t handle change very well for some reason. Good work WordPress!

I don’t really like the new reader but I guess it will just take some getting used to. It feels very disorienting, for some reason.

I do like how streamlined it is, yes there is a adjustment phase here.

No, I haven’t. That is something I need to figure out.

I’ve got a workaround – follow a new topic then unfollow it afterwards – but if you find anything better, please let me know! When browsing on my iPhone 5, the left hand column (the bit with tags, lists and topics I follow) is also obscuring the latest posts.
Like you, I try to be supportive of updates and changes, but this one’s not exactly intuitive so far at least!
