An Award I Didn’t Want, Nor Did I Deserve, I Think!

I am not the best at driving my Ford F-150 or parking it either. Today we went to Target to get some things after our Chiropractic appointment and I admittedly didn’t do the best job of parking but I was between two lines and wasn’t over the lines on the left or the right. Well when we went back to the truck to leave this was on the driver side door. All for me.

My Undeserved Award

This person who put this on my truck had to tear it off a larger piece of paper and write it and put it on the driver side window of my truck. All of that to remind me I am not the best at parking my big truck. Sure I can take some criticism but this was uncalled for.

When you see stuff like this it can make you feel bad. It diminishes your faith in humanity. We can’t overlook the errors in a parking job nor can we overlook the imperfections in one another. I am not perfect but I really doubt I deserved this. Perhaps instead of tearing someone down maybe be silently angry and go on our way. Too many people have lost their lives due to rage and not taking time to decide if they should do this.

  1. The more we travel, the more ignorant behavior we see… sad. I have my good days and bad days parking the F-250 with extended bed so don’t feel bad and the note was certainly not necessary.

  2. Tony, I too have been the beautiful recipient of such an award! ❤ to you! Unmerited and uncalled for as I was on vacation and could only park as well as those who parked before me. With a van-full of kids, at Christmas, Disneyland suddenly became not the happiest place on earth, and I felt truly bad for the person who found it necessary to be so disrespectful. Light and love! PS. park as you would and carry on. I'd like to be able to hand a ticket to every nick and scratch owner my beautiful car has received in parking lots. 🙂

  3. I thought it was actually quite funny what the person did. I had my car scratched with keys from one side to another and I had it parked right……I think. Point being, I don´t think we should get depressed for a little joke like that, and about faith in humanity, I lost that one long time ago but I do have faith in God. He even has a sense of humour like me. Or maybe is Him that makes me have my ironic sarcastic sense of humour which in return He is the one with it, damn this is strange….

  4. I’m on the other side of this issue. I drive a small car and park fairly well out in the lots to avoid door dings and the like, one spot only though. More times than not a giant truck parks on either side of me making it impossible to see as I back out. It’s like someone build a giant wall there while I was gone. And there are TONS of empty spots CLOSER to the business! I used to take pictures of it because no one would believe me. That said I have never left a note on anyones car or truck, that’s pretty low class. Welcome to America!
