I am rarely sick. But there are times when I don’t feel well and need to call in. Right now I don’t think I would want to be at work so I am home trying to get better. This morning I went to the doctor and I have a sinus infection that I got some meds for. My goal is to get back to work tomorrow. Fortunately I have sick time but you know I don’t want to use a lot of it. Calling in sick also means you have to work a lot harder to catch up. I am thankful I could take today off.

How did they diagnose your sinus infection (if you don’t mind me asking)? I’ve had some sinus issues off and on for a while but I don’t think they ever get back enough to see a doctor yet I have to make sure I always have some Sudafed (Zyrtec-D) on hand for those times when it gets bad.

My doc did a ear, nose and throat exam with listening to my breathing.
