It’s my grandma’s birthday today and I can safely say that she has had no accidents.. Yet! She believes that she is lucky though for she was born on a Friday and therefore cannot have bad luck on any Friday 13th.

Happy Friday! As you saw in my tweet I am still slightly superstitious about Friday the 13th and do not like to plan any major activity on this date! Actually it was seeing the movie Friday the 13th when I was 8 on American cable TV in Jamaica that gave me my extreme fear of serial killers and OCD. There was a horrible scene where it looked like the woman had escaped the killer and she was resting against a tree. Then he reached round and cut her throat – I have had a phobia of having my throat cut and serial killers since then!

I’m not superstitious but a friend at university would NOT leave her room all day on Friday 13ths. To the extent I had to carry her meals up for her… Be safe everyone.
