Another Reblog Ramble

If you insist on pinging or reblogging the content of a blog you like a lot get permission from the original author before doing so. It’s annoying and intrusive not to. Its my content, NOT yours. Some posts are very personal and you don’t have open season to do what you want. If you have a relationship with the blogger that’s one thing. This is not Tumblr. Stop it.

      1. You’ve been very vocal about this so maybe this individual is doing it on purpose because he knows it gets to you? Have you tried reporting or blocking this individual?

  1. If they have the reblog button on there I say they are open to reblogging. No button, no reblog. He took off the button, how is the person reblogging? Or is he copying and pasting the info? Just confused.

        1. Ok to be honest I like the picture up there better. IMHO. The bar of colors just doesn’t have the same appeal.

  2. I’ve only reblogged a few items. Never even occurred to me to ask permission nor has anyone asked my permission before many of my posts have been reblogged. I always thought reblogging was a good thing because it serves as a compliment and expands audience. Course I’ve never been harassed by a reblogger either. Hmm. Might think twice before hitting that button next time.

  3. I don’t reblog much, but each time I do, I receive a thank you. And reciprocate if someone reblog my post. It never occurred to me this could be offensive. Hmmm, will think about it.

A nicely put together site, by the way.
