For those on Instagram do you have a problem with mystery followers who seem to be spam-like and don’t have a conventional username? I get them frequently. Some promise more followers and others are kind of racy and sexy. I guess there are people on the Internet who want to exploit more than genuinely connect with others in a meaningful way. It’s kind of frustrating and annoying. But it’s a part of the web experience.

I get them often too, on Instagram and Twitter. It’s very annoying.

Report them. Go to comment, slide their comment left, click on the exclamation point. Then you can block them, then report them as spam or inappropriate or whatever seems the best to do. IG will take it from there. You can flag them on other peoples posts, too, but you can block them only on your own.

Tony, a lot of people on Twitter and Instagram are trying to “friend’ people to see them something, usually porn. I just block them but it is really annoying. With over 35k followers on Twitter I get this every single day

Yep. Get it too. I delete their messages and block them. It slows down after a little while… then starts up again. It can be rather annoying to some.
