One year ago we worshipped at White Oak UMC for the last time. After 10 years at the church we were ready for a change. Last summer we did a search for a new church and ended up at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church where we have been warmly received and we have been presented with opportunities to grow our faith and serve the Lord at the same time. God gave us 10 years at White Oak and we are grateful for the people we met there and the experiences we had. Thanks to Steve, Amy and Lyle for being our pastors and shepherds. Now we are in a place and new global faith community that is helping us grow and to continue our faith journey. Thanks be to God. Blessed be.

I think the Lord lets us know when it is time to move, whether it is to a different house, city, country or church. I am glad that you were able to listen and found a new place where you feel wanted and close to the Lord. Thank you for sharing this!
