This is delicious, easy and filling. In a crock pot it is even better. Enjoy this yourself!
When I was a poor, single girl, this was my favorite variety of that “just add hamburger” stuff in a box. This version is almost as easy, and far more tasty (with ingredients you can pronounce that are probably in your kitchen right now!)
- 1.25 to 1.5 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 cups dried macaroni noodles
- 1 cup beef broth (plain water will work too)
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup milk (plus more if needed)
- 3 tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp minced garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning blend*
- 1 tsp paprika*
- Salt and black pepper to taste
