In blogging you make connections with like minded people. For me being a bit of an extrovert it is exciting to meet people with a passion for blogging. My objective is friendship and not to “hookup” with anyone. As a married person I feel like I need to make that clear. When commenting on posts I am responding to what I read and I am not wanting to “flirt” or anything like that, I am not sure if I remember how to do that.
Over the years I have made some great friends doing this thing and I am grateful for those who choose to call me friend. Thank you fellow bloggers, keep on blogging.

Totally agree, Tony, and one of the best ways of doing this to to leave relevant and effective comments. As long as they are constructive and add to the post, then commenting can easily create better relationships and form excellent communities within your chosen niche or interest. Rock on blogging!
