Today the children of my community return to the classroom to begin the 2016-2017 school term. I am reminded of the anticipation and dread that was going back to school. For many it’s seeing their friends daily and recess. Our kids have it tougher today than in years past to compete and to complete their work.
Be on watch for those who will be out and about headed back to the school house, safety is important for the next generation. To all the teachers, students and staff of schools I wish you a great year of learning and growing.

Wow, that’s early. They won’t be back in school for another 3 weeks I think up here.

I live in Canada, and it will be another couple of weeks before my kiddies go back to school. I remember thinking how strange it was that some kids start in mid-August. Ha ha! For me growing up, it was always the first week of September til the last week of June.

For us in most of the US it used to be first week of September. Before too long there will be year round school.

Wow, that’s early! I’m aware that some schools near my area start in late August, but man, early August is, indeed, too soon! I’m still used to starting in September.
