Farewell Rizzoli and Isles

Tonight the TNT network crime drama Rizzoli and Isles says farewell. I like this show for having two intelligent, competent, fearless professional women solving crimes for the Boston Police Department. Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander brought a detective and medical examiner to life. I will miss this show like many others that have left over the years. Goodbye and thank you Detective Rizzoli and Dr. Isles.

  1. I wasn’t an avid viewer of R&I, but I did watch a couple of episodes and found them entertaining. Doesn’t hurt that the female leads are not bad to look at, either. 😉

  2. The first time a real good show about women that young girls could look up to and you take it off. The women had class didn’t look like sluts and you take it off wow

  3. Despite very much liking these two women as actors – and felt that they delivered a great performance – I HATED the show. And I really mean hated. I can’t tell whether it was because I thought the show was bad, or because I’d read the books first, and the books are damn good, so the show was too wrong and different and no where near as good. Which is a shame, because if they’d modeled it off the books, they’d have one of those HBO series that’s perfect.
